Unfortunately I think its time to have a knee checked out, after years of abuse on the job(Lt at the FD) and all the sports/surfing I've done and continue to do. I checked the search function, but there weren't any recent posts on the topic. Anyone have good experience with any of the local Sports specialized orthos for surfers? I'd rather not have to go to Orlando unless there's no other good options. I've already been recommended Dr Miller in Viera from 1 person, but haven't heard from anyone else about him. Dr. Everett DeJong is the man. Local Mel Beach surgeon is the go to.

Vero Beach is infested with orthopaedists, typically specializing in one body part or another. I'm sure Brevard has plenty

Dean Cole at Advent in O-town is world renown and an avid kite surfer. He knows what it takes to keep us going. He did my ACL replacement, hip replacement and reconstructed me after getting hit by a 1977 Nova going 55.

I have heard good things about DeJong too.
