great history here , thx for posting . lots of good memories from late 70's to early 80's surfing there . Was living on Oahu when they changed the jetty for the worst . When did that happen ?

Didn't see the cages with the baby rattlers, and the dune "road" from spanish house!

My Pops used to come up Jungle Drive and fish the south side before the bridge was constructed. He never took any pictures, even though he was a newsman.

We do have some of us camping in our VW van in the late 60's and early 70's.
