"Lums is in unincorporated Brevard County, locally referred to as South Patrick Shores."
And before that as Sea Park. South Patrick Shores (aka Taylor Made Homes) began at SE 1st St and went north to NE 3rd St. (I'm sure dingpatch remembers Uncle Louie who worked, I think of as a supervisor, for Taylor Made. He bought all their leftover window mechanisms, etc and fixed all of our house issues for years. I lived on NE 2nd St from 1960 - 1972,) The sign at Lum's now reads South Patrick Residents' Assoc. but was originally Sea Park Residents Assoc. (SPRA goes way back into the 60s, not sure when it started, but it only allowed Sea Park residents.) Don't know why they changed the name of the neighborhood, but there is now a sign at the south end of Sea Park on the back road that says you are entering South Patrick Shores. |

The little park in the back is South Patrick Community Park. Most people call it Sea Park.
