SYNOPSIS
Low pressure over the northern Gulf coast this morning will strengthen as it slides east along a frontal boundary located just north of the area. The low will continue to deepen along the Carolina coast Monday and sweep a trailing cold front across the local Atlantic waters, bringing high coverage of rain with embedded storms. A surge of west and northwest winds will occur around this deep low pressure Monday and Monday night with gusts to Gale force over the open Atlantic. Weak high pressure builds east from the Gulf and settles over the Florida peninsula on Wednesday, pushing seaward Thursday. |

Sources including Windy indicate Wed-Thurs is worth checking as they approach. Today seems the last really flat one.
