Not a replacement, but the AC and some cleaning up while in there. Pretty stoked to have the solution even if it means arthroscopic surgery. I'm guessing there are more than a few guys on here that are farther down this same road and so I would liked to hear about it.

Rotator cuff repairs, both arms. The first followed a painful fall (tripped over a flower pot in the dark) but I was assured that a bone spur had done almost all the damage. While the second one was in good usable shape fast, it took forever to get back the right range of motion to swim freestyle.

Both shoulders done about 10 years ago. Adhesions & bone spurs in both, plus torn labrum in one of 'em. 100% range of motion restored.

Be patient, persistent, & careful with your PT during recovery. Swimming pool was a big help during recovery: not swim strokes at the beginning, just glow, gentle motion damped/cushioned by the water resistance.

Cortisone shot can do wonders to reduce inflammation if the post-op pain is limiting your PT. Good luck!

SLAP, cuff, spurs. 8 weeks immobile so useless arm. About 6 months rehab to 80-90%. Still hurts 5 years later but did about 3 hour session yesterday. YMMV.
