Both teams believe they can salvage some shred of their dignity after seasons that were terrible. I have this odd belief that the gators could win this in the swamp. The seminoles could surprise them but they are comfortable losing at this point.

Hard to believe that Napier didn't play Baugh every game like that. FSU couldn't get it going and UF played a great game.

Hard to believe a lot of things about Napier. He was as hard headed as Spurrier, but without any of the talent. If he would have hired an OC, he might still be there. He recruited relatively well, nothing to right home about, but well enough. His play calling sucked and he just never could admit it. The bottom line is - Good day to be a Gator (finally).

Fun game to watch even if it was a battle of losers. (Misery loves company)
