does not matter if I type it in a WP program and C&P or just type it directly into the reply box ....... I type it with paragraphs and it posts as one looooonnnnggggg one! (just like this one will) Using Mozilla FF (browser) and Comcast (ISP)

I'm guessing it's a FF thing. Cause I use IE and never have that problem.
Not sure though, i'm no techie.

Don't mean to thread jack you, but since we're on a formating issues topic, I've got one of my own...

The forum software works fine with ff and Safari.  You may need to  conduct a house cleaning to remove leftovers from the previous Forum software.

Just hit the "Quote" on the bottom of the post. The quote will pop up in your reply and you can do some selective editing to make it look nice and delete redundant or irrelevant parts of the original quote.

aaargh!  It should be working.  Try Google Chrome????

There was a lot of discussion after the new software arrived, and I was one of the people with problems.  Couldn't find a thread discussing how-to.

BB .... you are talking about quoting your own posting .... after you posted it? Wouldn't you end up with 2 dif postings? I have already tried to "edit" and get paragraphs to show ... did not work. ..... on a dif note (and because I can not make paragraphs ) ..... ww ..... the "Readability" link does ROCK!! I am one of those people that has a hard time reading an online article. To the point that I use to print them out and read them ..... but the Readability format seems to cut out all of the extraneous stuff that always distracted me on a reg web page

Previously, I used the quote button inside the reply box, then c and p to the text box.
I got it now though, thanks.

I have the same problem when using Mozilla or Safari (mac). IE seems to work. That evil Bill Gates.

IE on windows vista does not work anymore for me. I hit carraige return, manually add in ["p"] [/"p"]'s, nothing. Constant run on sentence. Cleared cookies and temp files a while ago.

Fair enough ... as I do not know what you were originally talking about or to who ... or is that whom. I always get those mixed up.

I was answering a question by ponch. I quoted him in the post.

I really don't have an answer to any of your questions. Sorry. I use Mozilla Firefox and haven't had any problems. I may have had some when they switched over to the new site. I really can't remember now if there was a issue or what I did to solve it.

That paragraph thing is annoying though. It looks like you're not the only one that has the problem.
