I didn't know Greg, RIP, but what a tragic story. I heard Greg owned the restaraunt/pub on UCF campus called Tailgaters.

I hope this John McAffee guy turns himself in. Seems kind of strange.

Guatemala City (CNN) -- Software pioneer John McAfee ended the day Thursday as he started it: imprisoned in a Guatemalan immigration detention center.

Earlier, a neon green ambulance had whisked the 67-year-old to a police hospital just hours after officials rejected his bid for asylum. McAfee's legal team said doctors were treating him for cardiovascular problems.

Eccentric software guru John McAfee, wanted for questioning by Belize authorities about the murder of his American neighbor, is being sued in Orlando for wrongful death.

McAfee is known for the anti-virus software bearing his name, but he made international headlines last year when he went on the run after Gregory Faull was killed.

I live in Oviedo and remember Gregory Faull.  He used to walk in the morning with his big white bird on his shoulder.  That was over 2 years ago at least.  I only recognize him from the picture in the first story from last year.  Small world.....

I could have sworn that I saw him in the Starbucks in Indialantic a week or two ago. The guy in Starbucks said something about being 71 years old. After I saw him, I looked up what McAfee's age was and I think it 72 or 73. The guy in Starbucks had a young akita dog with him that he was just letting walk around off leash until the employees told him to stop letting his dog bother people trying to drink their coffee. He had hair and a goatee that had obviously been dyed dark brown. He had full sleeve tattoos on both arms. The left arm had something like an eagle and American flag. The underside of his right bicep looked like it said Johnny. I even came home and told my wife about it. He was about 6' or just over 6' tall.
