??

I've been, more-or-less, out of circulation since Christmas with this fooking bad immune system.

I've been teleworking, however, doing a lot of home projects. Pressure washing to yard projects to home improvements. When you are a home owner you have job security!

But, basically, yes bored.

Turn on my V.C.R., same one I've had for years James Brown on the Tammy show, Same tape I've had for years I sit in my old car, same one I've had for years Old battery's running down, it ran for years and years Turn on the radio, the static hurts my ears Tell me, where would I go? I ain't been out in years Turn on the stereo, it's played for years and years An Otis Redding song, it's all I own When the world is running down You make the best of what's still around When the world is running down You make the best of what's still around Plug in my M.C.I, to excercise my brain Make records on my own, can't go out in the rain Pick up the telephone, I've listened here for years No one to talk to me, I've listened here for years When the world is running down You make the best of what's still around When the world is running down You make the best of what's still around

Well, , , , I have done some yard work and have otherwise been making a few more fins.

We'll get used to it.

Indeed! ^!! Ding, you can do the "retro-media challenge". Take out each record you own, 1 by 1. Listen to it. Next, do the same for each cassette. Then, do the same for each CD...For you we will skip the 8 track tapes. You get the idea...that should keep ya busy a few weeks.

My wife is a preschool teacher and has a hard time not working. So, she is re-staining all of our cypress doors, bifold louvered closet doors and wood trim. That leads to cleaning under and in areas that have not been cleaned in years. She is also posting a daily scavenger hunt for her friends on Facebook and stories for her kids.

I, who have been retired for 8 years now, have no such problems finding work. I have been going through my old Surfer's Journals, starting with Vol 1, no. 1. As one of my friends says, "I love work. I can watch people do it for hours."

We hope everyone had a good Easter.

I'm building trolling lures again, but have turned it into more functional art than production; multi layers of color, custom eyes and custom color skirts. My plants are getting the care they need in this drought like weather, my local birds are fat from full feeders, weird little areas of the house are getting cleaned, we are making all meals at home, so food is kinda being broken out of the mold, my semi tame Curly Tail lizards are happy with their constant supply of dried meal worms, my wife is skilled with the sewing machine and is making masks for us and friends, we sit on the porch swing in the evening at holler back and forth with the neighbors, beach fish, surf and have discovered that there is a crap load of free surf films and fishing shows on Prime.

..oh, and I'm still working full time as a state contractor.

I've been so busy not much has changed for me, except for the much lighter traffic I have to deal with on a daily basis and I could get used to that. Breaking off to play golf a couple afternoons during the week and Saturday mornings have been my only outlet, but my handicap is dropping like a rock...

I figured you had stuff to do, especially fin making. Skate decks sounds interesting!

I have been writing and recording my usual weird music, plus yard work and a bit of workout. Probably get back to photography as soon as my film lab opens back up.

I've returned to a childhood hobby, scale model building. Tamiya makes some incredible kits, and Revell of Germany is still real good.

Next up is a 1:72 scale type IX-C U-Boat, like the U-128 that sank the Cities Service Empire off Cape Canaveral in 1942
