There is a local surfer owned leak detection company who do great work, but I can't recall the name.

If you plan on keeping the property for a good amount of time be prepared to repipe the house vs just fixing one leak (there will eventually be others ). Good luck

yeah thanks for planting the re-pipe in my head, it's a rental but I have already replaced the cast iron main drain for the kitchen , so I know more is coming...Old homes and cast iron pipes...just another "surprise" to throw money at...not thrilled about running water pipes in the attic though. Cost of doing biz

Oh cast iron.... and not even copper? Sorry bud, get ready to bite the bullet and get it done. Lime in the concrete (and our hard water) does a job on pipes. Plan on CPVC re-pipe 5-6G...

Aquaman Leak Detection of Satellite Beach found and fixed a really tricky slab leak at my house.

https://aquamanleakdetection.com/

Cheaper and available quicker than either American or Affordable Leak Detection.

That's them. Good surfers too.

Mine are through the roof. There is no choice after the cost of the second leak you will get.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll put Aquaman Leak Detection on my list of vendors...I used Freedom Plumbing and Leak Detection just because they could come out the same day. Very pleased with the job and price.

This explains your $5-$6k insurance rant in that other post. Galvanized pipes suck to insure. And God forbid you get a serious pipe break and have to claim it, you'll be toast.

Repipe waste lines and supply lines using pex and schedule 40.
Good luck
