Sure, but Laettner's shot led to a championship two games later (which is why they remember it). There have been many, many great games with great closing shots that are not remembered because they didn't. I couldn't tell you who won the Championship, but I definitely remember that shot from Laettner. I also remember that ally oop to Grant Hill ( I also don't remember that game either) but I remember that dunk which looked like he grabbed the ball of the top of the backboard to slam it.
