This bodes ill for the second-tier camera companies: Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic and what's left of tiny Olympus. Canon and Sony make lots of very useful professional equipment and ought to do OK. Beside, both make sensors.

i've got the iphone 11 and my wife the 12. The video quality is amazing. Also, what is unique with it is the audio recording. Somehow they figured out how to not distort audio even in front of live bands. Smart phones rule!

I didn't have my camera handy when could have video'd Brent Weldon's antics at the Wedge. He was chasing a skimboarder with that iPhone. After a while, he tried skimming himself. Made for good pratfalls.
