seaspray Posts: 648 Joined Forum: 05/10/2012	Are you talking about the heat-pump water heater? I had a co-worker install one in his home and he had nothing but good things to say about it. Had it in the garage and said that it did provide some level of cooling. Pricey, but he was the type of guy that spent a lot on that stuff, including solar-heating for pool, etc.

Yep the heat pump water heater design is what I was considering. I wonder what brand his was? I keep finding that Rheem has some problems and is noisy. Which won't work for us because the master bedroom shares the wall with the water heater on the other side. I haven't yet spoke to anyone that has had A.O. Smith or the Bradford white brand. There are some Rebates available. But I don't know if it's worth it for our needs. ------------------------- Time and tide wait for no one.....
