New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m., Sunday
For the Bucs, it's simple: win and they're in. The Bucs lead the NFC South by one game over the Atlanta Falcons, who host the lowly Carolina Panthers, also at 1 p.m. Sunday. Should the Bucs lose and the Falcons win, Atlanta would be in the playoffs based on tiebreakers, and Tampa Bay would be left out. If they both lose, the Bucs still get in. |

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets, 4:25 p.m., Sunday
For the Miami Dolphins, a wild card spot comes down to them needing a win at the New York Jets, while they would need the Denver Broncos to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs. Both games take place at 4:25 p.m. Sunday. The Dolphins also hold the tiebreaker over the Cincinnati Bengals, which can only make the playoffs if they win and both the Dolphins and Broncos lose. While the Dolphins will be big Chiefs fans for a day, the possibility exists Kansas City could sit its starters with the top seed in the AFC and a bye week wrapped up. That's certainly what the Broncos are hoping for. |
