National Championship Game tonight!

Houston Cougars vs Florida Gators.

Gators are 1.5 point favorites.

8:50pm CBS

Should be interesting. My pick is Houston. They have a deep team with all players being to able to handle the ball and shoot.

Gators are pretty tough though. Winning the SEC and making it this far is great.

I didn't catch the Fl-Au game but talked to someone yesterday who did. Auburn was up big with Gators come storming back to win.

Similar to Houston-Duke game.

A lot of my Gator fans are beating their chest, er 'text'. They texting me saying Gators gonna win. My reply is usually like the above that Houston is pretty darn good to.

They have no idea. Most Gator fans only watch Gator games and discount whoever they playing. It's called arrogance. Which is fine. The Mighty Gators.

They very well may win tonight, however, Don't over looks the Houston Cougars! Beating Duke was a phenomenal effort. They've only lost 4 games all year. Won the Big12 two years in a row. Have a great coach and again are a deep team.

Congrats to both teams on making it to the Championship Game.

Let's Play Ball!

I've been a Florida fan for over 65 years. Gator fans have absolutely no reason to beat their chests. The young ones (those who came on board in the 90s) have no idea what a football and basketball wasteland G'ville has been for over 125 years. Dan Jenkins had it right when he wrote about the football team, but the sentiment applies to b-ball too - "The arrogance of Notre Dame and the tradition of Wake Forest." I appreciate the good years greatly, but they are an aberration. The young fans who only remember Spurrier, Meyer and Donovan embody the phrase (originally written about the French) "arrogance without cause". They, and FSU fans (who only remember Booby) can be insufferable. Appreciate the good times, but remember the bad too. Be a good fan, not an arrogant prick.

Last night was one of the good times. Add Golden to the list.

That was the craziest comeback since Houston beat Duke. I actually felt bad for Houston even though I am a Gator fan. Somehow, some way, Clayton did it again, with the rest of the team keeping him in the game after his most brutal first half where he was shut down utterly, completely and entirely.
