Miley's Rock & Roll Heart

After two tumultuous years, Cyrus emerges with a wild new album, a fresh outlook, and a lot to say about her heroes, sobriety, and getting the respect she deserves

Wait. You're saying she's sober? With that Cher outfit? But she impressed me with this video. She's got the pipes and it wasn't doctored or auto tuned. She nailed it. Maybe she can take a break from her very busy schedule being a rock star and just sing authentic music that showcases her talent.

That's basically what the rolling stone mag interview says. I was never a miley cyrus fan, I kind of liked Party In the USA song and I do like her party attitude. I may actually listen to her new album to see if it is any good.

Maybe I'm getting old, but I think the hyper-sexualization takes something away from her obvious talent.

IDK, did we all listen to Blondie's music for the quality of it or because Debbie Harry was knock out cute and seemed dangerous?

I wouldn't put Miley in the category. Debbie actually grew up on the mean streets and worked her way up.

Miley, being punk in a multi-millionaire neighborhood in the LA Hills is pretty unrealistic. Sort of like dressing up like a rock star for halloween.

She does have talent and I like the covers she is doing. But, the punk attitude is obviously canned and not unique. It's semi-interesting though.

I like her, tons of talent. She also offers a flair to songs that are otherwise ho-hum.

On a side note, Blondie music is not ho-hum; they were ground breakers.

On a long bike ride yesterday I took a chance and listened to Miley's new album. It's pretty good. Never thought I'd be a fan, but am now.

Excellent vid. Great rendition of a classic song.

Never thought I'd give Miley Cyrus a look. But damn, she looks good also.
