Has anyone noticed the sign for Mi Pueblo Mex Rest across from Pelican Park, where Realty office is? It used to be a restaurant a while back. Seems like we could use a little more variety than another Mex. But I do love Mex it just seems redundant.

Just noticed that a few days ago. Used to be the old "Phoenix" restaurant and one or two after that. Seems like someone spent a lot of money to remodel it as a real estate office; odd that anyone would spend more money reversing course at today's prices.

which links to a Mexican restaurant in Kentucky.

I wish them luck; they're gonna need it.

LOL at not another mex restaurant.

They do seem a dime a dozen. I go to Taco City if need my cholesterol count increased.

Sign is down, and lights were off Thursday night. Too bad (their shrimp fajita meal was really good), but not surprising at all if they didn't make it. I'm just surprised owners with previous restaurant experience would have made such a risky (dumb?) investment.

If you want some good Mexican places like la placita taqueria and other small taquerias are really good. Spanish is not mandatory but does help.
