I bought my wife a quick pot for Christmas...over a year ago. It sat in the box as it was new and not something she was used to. Lots of zoom meetings with family and some prodding and we did our first whole chicken in it. Meh. It sat again. I saw a few recipes for soups done in 15-20 minutes. Jackpot. We've made three now, and damn skippy, it works well for that. Hopefully, we'll work out some of the plethora of other recipes other folks have recommended.

Well, the chicken has been good but comes out more like "stewed".

Yes, soups are spot on. All you do is rinse the beans and you are ready to go, no soaking overnight or boiling all-day-long. Store bought "15 Bean" took just over an hour.

Potatoes come out great.

My favorite is hard-boiled-eggs. Ya can't beat them.

Oh and, for me, being a chemo'd out widower, , , , , , the Pot comes in very handy for a quick meal.

Put the contents of a box of macaroni and cheese in with an appropriate amount of water, perhaps a little bit more cheese and a can of chicken or tuna. Boom, in about 5 minutes you;e got dinner. Also works with those boxes of potatoe.

We tried veggies on the first go and it broke them down to their base elements; basically a hot green algae. We now just use it for soups and it makes some damn fine ones.

Can make boiled peanuts in just a few hours. Throw in pound of peanuts with a can of beer (chelada), chopped habaneros, onion, garlic, crab boil, salt, fill with enough water to cover when submerged, and hit the button

Pretty good for making rice quick too.

I have the Instant Pot, assuming the same

LOL, dude, she is the gardener. She is proud of her peppers. Thai Chilis, Jalapenos, Habaneros, soon to be some Datils.
