I'm watching Get Back documentary on Disney+ for the second time.

It appears to me it wasn't Yoko.

George had plenty of his own songs that he couldn't squeeze onto their albums, usually only one or two per album.

Also, McCartney and Lennon really didn't take George's songwriting seriously and George had enough of them.

Lennon and George didn't care for the way Paul took over the studio sessions and could get bossy, as if Lennon, George and Ringo were his side men.

Also, Paul wanted Linda Eastman's kin as manager and the others wanted Allen Klein.

Bottom line is they grew up and each wanted to do their own thing.
