Another sad story of a famous rock-n-roller. R.I.P.

I work in the production industry.
It is a terrible, thankless job, that eats people alive.
Money for nothing, chiks for free....riiiite.
Nobody knows what it's like.....i do. And it utterly sucks..
Drugs have eaten and destroyed so many wonderful artists
Here we are now....entertain us
Acting stupid....entertain us
What a waste.....again

The toxicology test, it is also being reported that there were ten types of substances found in the drummer including marihuana, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids.

Combine that with an enlarged heart.

Good thing they have another drummer.......

Dave Grohl is the only one that could replace Taylor Hawkins. That is if he could carry on after losing his friend and bandmate.

Seems all agree he was a very nice person.

Sad for his family and bandmates.

May he rest in peace.

Agreed. The very public life of a rock and roller leaves very little private. The more successful the band, the more interest in every from his breakfast cereal to middle school girlfriend. The drugs are everywhere and they work, at first.

Ten types? That can't be an enjoyable experience. Uppers for the downers, downers for the uppers and brain meds to keep you glued together. I'm beginning to think measured doses of Heroin are a better choice for the deeply addicted.

Foo Fighters and the Hawkins family have announced the first wave of performers for the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in London this September. Liam Gallagher, Josh Homme, Chrissie Hynde, Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Supergrass, and Mark Ronson are on the bill, among others. Dave Chappelle is billed as a special guest. The show takes place September 3 at Wembley Stadium, before another tribute concert, with an as-yet-unannounced lineup, at Los Angeles' Kia Forum on September 27.
