First, Cherry Down plays in Cocoa village Friday night as well at Village Bier Garten, but I noticed on the calender a couple weeks ago a band called Whiskey Myers is playing at Riverfront Park. I've been listening to them. they are pretty good. Rock/Country/Blues. In the vain of Lynrd skynrd/allman/led Zep. Lyrics are deep americana. From Texas. Check them out.

How was the show?

I would have went, but already had tix to see GZA at Ace cafe, which was a total waste. He still hadn't taken the stage by 12 am, so I left. Not sure if he ever showed up or not. I originally thought it was RZA when I bought the tix and felt like a jackass when I figured it out.

I didn't attend it. But, all my friends who went said it was great. We saw the post show people as they streamed into Village Bier Garten where my band was playing. It was pretty crazy with everyone. It was super crowded.

I would have much rather gone to cocoa. I bet your band is far better than the people they were putting on stage to kill time while GZA was MIA. I swear I think they were pulling random people out of the crowd that thought they could rap. Terrible [in Charles Barkley voice]

I'm not familiar with gza. I'll have to look him up. Sucks when the main act comes on so late. Must have been a night club where they make more money on the drinks.

Part of Wu Tang Clan. It was Ace Cafe. And he was shooting pool in the place earlier that night.

Not generally my type music, but I had a kitchen pass and some friends were going.
