You are absolutely correct. It is true that when travelling by train you might hear a conductor say those very words. As an aside, I'm not sure whether to be impressed or concerned regarding your extensive knowledge running trains. Hahha. (cool kid emoji here?)

That this particular journey utilizes a car and not a train should greatly help to minimize your concerns.

The actual song lyrics (as written by a Dutchman) should probably also be taken into account. Their English is much better than my Dutch so I give them a pass. Et Tu Stirfry?


Maybe the road trip needs to continue... (As clearly stated in both songs), All on board!
