Saw him interviewed by Dan Rather on a rerun of the Big Interview. Y They are really, really good. I think they were an hour, but maybe only a half hour. Wikipedia has a list with links. There are a bunch -

I edited my post poorly when I reread it - The Wikipedia link has all the seasons and all the interviews (not just musicians, but mostly those). Dan Rather looks pretty un-hip, but he must have been with this lineup of interviews. I'm pretty sure he got to choose them. Take a look, you will be surprised.

John begins with the story of his Rickenbacker guitar he gave away in a moment of despair and which his wife found and got back after 44 years. He follows by playing "Who'll Stop The Rain"

Fogerty has tour dates in St. Augustine, Clearwater, and Ft. Lauderdale at the end of this month, in case anyone is interested.
John begins with the story of his Rickenbacker guitar he gave away in a moment of despair and which his wife found and got back after 44 years. Last week at Peter Frampton's show in St. Auggie, he told the story of the Les Paul that he played on most of the Frampton Comes Alive album. It "disappeared" for 32 years before he got it back. Story was the intro to "Do You Feel Like We Do" which sounded pretty sweet (and lasted about 5 minutes longer than the album version). |
