Tuesday night at The Ryman was fucking spot on.

I had VIP tickets to the show and the Ford Lounge, very nice "VIP" lanyard. The Ford's open bar and food was very pleasing! Then I got 'escorted to my seat. I sat in 'row B' which was the old Front Row: the pews are arranged in a sorta semicircle but the front of the stage is straight so, there is a 'gap' between the stage and original pews that is filled with 2 rows of folding chairs for $200 a pop. I was very satisfied with my $200 pew! The lady and husband sitting next to me are Ryman old timers. She told me something like I was sitting in Kitty Well's seat when she would attend the Opry!

The Ryman was rockin,, , , , it was all about the bass! BOOM!! It was not 'loud' but, , , , during some numbers the base was so strong that it really did feel like the back of the pew was being hit with a baseball bat!

This was one of 'the' surprises of the show. All these guys were onstage with Willie. He had only sung about 12 words and I heard 2 people behind me say, at the same instant, omg his voice!

I was sitting in the first row of pews, 3 'spaces' from the center of the stage, next to the guy with the brown shirt.

I was right.

Now, it 'appears' that my friend Sara will also be on the Australian and New Zealand legs of PMJ's tour in February and March. Then home for a couple weeks, then on to the UK for the last week of April then on into May.

And with that, she is so very Stoked to be singing at The Ryman, The Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House, all within 12 months!! Three of THE most iconic music venues in the World!
