Genius he was.

God bless him, he gave a gift to billions of people.

Big fan, got to see The Beach Boys a few times but best was Brian Wilson doing his own thing at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. Ironically, the spot Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and others played the day the music died.

He was the soundtrack to my rather soggy upbringing.
Worked 2 shows with him at king ctr. Real unapproachable, unless introduced.
We hit it off, ignore him until he wants to talk...I got the drift.
Nice guy

I subscribe to Eaton Detroit Springs, car springs, restomods and such. This weeks post: "This past week, we lost Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, and to celebrate his enormous contribution to car culture, we put together a playlist of classic Beach Boys songs dedicated to the automotive life. We bet you can guess at least three songs that make an appearance. How about all seventeen tracks?"

Oddly enough, the Beach Boys were playing at Riot Fest in Chicago. I was excited to see them. This is a bummer.
