In Marion County - which is consolidated with Indianapolis and is the most populous jurisdiction in the state with more than 965,000 residents - Trump only beat Haley by 30 points (65 percent to 35 percent).

The real news is reminding people that his term ended in chaos.
The pointed ads for his attack on the heart of the country haven't started yet.

Nope, he hardly ever talks about real policy. Mostly he talks about grievances and non-specific stuff like "we will have mass deportations" or we will bring manufacturing back" without any real plan to accomplish those...except for his wanting to do it.

Well see what the RNC in july does to establish a party platform, hope it is better than the 2020 two pager that basically said we are cucked by Trump and whatever he says we will do. BTW - WTF and why would any party be cucked by a single person like trump? Cult much?

In the meantime the Maga are embracing Project2025.
Everybody should be aware of this and scared of how it shapes America's future. You can read the wiki, they have an 800+page manifesto but their webpage doesn't get into the real specifics of it like the wiki.
Basically, they want to reinvent the US government and have the president have more power than the legislative or judicial branches...and replace most of the gov't civil service with cultists who will be guided by an authoritarian.
It is really scary shit and wouldn't be surprised if the RNC adopts it whole or in part as the 2024 platform.

I wish there was another alternative besides Biden, but there is no way we can let Trump and these cultists restructure our USA into their authoritarian fantasy.

I was right.

A 20 percent loss is alot, especially when you consider these are Republican primaries.

You put that kind of performance into a national election against a Democrat and you're looking at Trump getting maybe 30-35%.


Which is just about in line with America's very loud and dumb minority- the Basket of Gullibles.
