Acting head of FEMA said he wasn't aware U.S. has a hurricane season


Staff of the Federal Emergency Management Agency were confused and dispirited on Monday after the acting head of the agency said during a daily briefing that he had not been aware the country has a hurricane season, according to three sources familiar with the meeting.

The remark was made by David Richardson at the conclusion of an 8:30 a.m. daily operational briefing typically attended by hundreds of FEMA staffers and interagency partners. Reuters was first to report the comment

DHS says FEMA head was joking when he said he wasn't aware of hurricane season

Richardson said at a briefing that he was not aware the United States has a hurricane season, confusing staffers. The report, which said it was unclear whether Richardson was serious or joking, cited four unnamed sources familiar with the situation.

"Despite meanspirited attempts to falsely frame a joke as policy, there is no uncertainty about what FEMA will be doing this Hurricane Season. FEMA is laser focused on disaster response, and protecting the American people," a spokesperson for DHS said. The spokesperson added that Richardson is "activated in preparation for Hurricane Season."

David Richardson wasn't joking.
He is from Michigan and was in the military, but probably not in a hurricane state.


In this link from weeks ago he held an all hands and told them not to stand in his way of gargling Trump's lily white and shriveled balls.
He will find out who the people standing in the way are as he knows all the tricks.
Then he invokes his military service and how he lead his marines.

Last year, every hotel, motel and grass shack from Homosassa to Sarasota was filled with hurricane victims. Their stay was sponsored by FEMA. The same can be said for hurricane victims in Georgia and the Carolinas, fire victims in California and tornado refugees in the Midwest. All of that has ended. Trump and his fools have no idea of the chaos they have just created. Imagine the Bush/Katrina incident 1,000 times over. This will be a failure of the highest order and Biden can't be blamed.
