This will do wonders for our local economy. On the flip, Elon will become the power player in the space race... if he can keep his rockets from blowing up.

Well, the ice Barbie has gone over budget so they need to get that money from somewhere.
These cuts will take NASA back to 1961 levels (adjusted). That will certainly have an effect on contractors and other support people in our local area. Make America Great Again!

And so much for the new rocket to the moon. That was a monumental waste of taxpayer money.

Ouch. Kinda knew that was coming though. FWIW, only about 2000 of KSC's 15000 workforce are NASA, the rest are contractors. If funding for projects continues, it's a loss of 600-700 (good paying) jobs. If project funding gets cut, um, the breaks may be a lot less crowded?

Terrible for the local economy... although it would be a fresh change to not have to make small talk with those dweebs at the parking lot or line-up

Unfortunately, the contractors will be on the cut list, too. As will the support; from food to clothing and beyond.

Will be interesting to see what gets continued funding. Artemis is expensive but it's kinda NASA's flagship. Who knows.
