I can understand this one. Trump, Republicans and the SCOTUS are starving people to raise the cost of healthcare in the US. Republicans are using the food insecure as bait. Actual people are actually starving in the richest country in the world. All at the behest of Donald J Trump.
My prediction is that the Republicans lied over the negotiations, and my healthcare cost will triple.

And get what for it? They sound like a woman at shelter excited to go back home with a big shiner and a blind spot she thinks means she resolved the situation.

It's long run politics: Who actually cares for the people and who doesn't?
One party is sticking up for the working man and women, while the other is trying to starve them. Unfortunately, this isn't some show, people are actually going without food. Do I want them to stay the course for my own best interests? Yes, this will effect me directly. My healthcare premium will triple once the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in. The payment for a new Porsche will be less than what the additional cost will be.

Mother F'ers.
I read it was a calculated move by the party leadership, as the Dems who sold out are safe in the midterms.
G-D Dems, first they F Bernie, then they try to F Mamdani, now this. And always they are begging money, hardly a day goes by.

It will be a bad look for Trump in the long run, pretty much everyone's seen his true colors now.
but of course I would have loved to see them slam him into the wall.
We'll see how it plays out long term, but I will say one thing- John Fetterman has gotta go.
gdude is right though, you can't ever trust Pugs, their word is dogshit. They will pull a Merrick Garland and not fufill their end of the deal- but then again, that will just kick the can down the road for everyone to see.
bottom line is, they have absolutely no fuckin plan for healthcare, and those rates are going way up.
There's going to be some serious anger and blame pointed Pug's way in 2026, and Donzo's latest stupid idea of fake-promising to hand people money is a complete fantasy.

This does accomplish one thing for the Democrats though. Mike Johnson said he would address health care once they opened the government. He's lying of course. That lie will be fodder on the coming elections.

My point exactly.
And it's something that directly affects families incomes in a big way -so they are very invested in making sure he does what he promised, which of course he won't, which will make them look terrible going into 2026

Mark my fucking words. The rapist party and Fuks news will spin it and make it the Democrats fault, and the Democrats will not say a word about it.

I'm sensing a possible Rope-A-Dope here.
We've got an Epstein whistleblower waiting in the wings, AZ House Rep getting sworn in, which means Epstein Files getting released.
Word is leaking out that Jizzlaine is being "waited on hand and foot" at her new Day Spa.
and that's just what we know about.
who knows how this could play out..
Maybe Larj Marj knows something after all?

Mine too. They agreed to a vote, but it needs 13 Republicans to sign on. Then it has to pass Mike Johnson in the House and be signed by Donald Trump.
1) There will be a list of who voted no in the Senate.
2) Johnson will be on record for blocking it in the House
3) If by some miracle it makes it to Trump, he will veto it.
None of this looks good for the Republican brand. Then it all happens again before the above leaves the news cycle.
Personally, I think they should have stayed the course. Trump was about to burst and they opened the valve and released the pressure. The one plus is the talk of removing Grandpa Schumer. It is definitely time for that dinosaur to step aside. His harshly worded letters don't really cut it in this day and age.

The whole Dem party is and has been totally unprepared to deal with tRumpism.
Schumer and Jefferies should resign. They are horrible examples of leadership.
There are a few who stand up. Newsome seems to be taking the lead.

If a genie offered the Dems three wishes they'd negotiate him down to one, and then ask for whatever they think the Republicans want.
