The people who voted for Trump based on illegal immigration voted for him because they thought he was the only candidate in a position to actually do something about. They felt that the other candidates were going to keep kicking the can down the road, as politicians do, wait for the problem to blow up, and then focus on posture and finger-pointing. The only way that Trump got elected was that enough people were completely fed up with the problem being ignored that they decided to give a big, orange, middle finger to Washington. Had Trump started out saying Mexico was going to pay for the wall and then gone back and said they weren't going to pay for it, those same people would have still voted for him as long as he planned on doing more than talk about it.

Yeah, he wants to stop those illegals from entering the country and using fake social security numbers. It isn't like Trump hired people off the street, himself, and was paying them $2.37 an hour. It isn't like he hired them to exploit them for a bargain on labor.

If there is any rage, it is directed at the idiots who believe that the status quo, which has allowed over 11,000,000 illegals into the country that we don't really know what to do with long-term, is a good strategy.
