I wouldn't say Gabbard is a weak candidate. The media leads the Democrats around by the nose, so if the media started singing Gabbard's praises, the vast majority of Democrats would rally behind her immediately. The problem is that currently, the media would prefer to rally around weaker candidates who won't call them out on their bullshit. If the new Dem establishment playbook is to accuse anyone who threatens them as a Russian asset then they are beyond desperate.

But we know from trump that the Russians will support any candidate who is disruptive and destabilizing. The difference is some have met with them face to face, at their headquarters while other may have no knowledge of their interference. Remember the Russians funded both BLM and bullshit "Blue lives matter" propaganda just to foment civil unrest.
