Snowflake. The favorite. How millennials just melt at the first sign of heat. Ironic because here is a boomer saying that boomer is the n word of ageism. Let's get this man to a safe space. Perhaps a country club, a post church coffee and donuts or a bunko game.

I'm a big fan of "OK Boomer" ...there's a few on this forum to whom it would apply quite nicely [IMG][/IMG] Adopting a stupid, meaningless phrase to avoid having to make a we'l reasoned argument is right down your alley, isn't it? Like trump derangement syndrome? Snowflake? Cuck? Like those, right? LOL you forgot "prog" and all the ridiculous things Mims Boomer claims they stand for. Then somebody comes up with one term and it triggers his ass off. They can dish it out, but they sure can't take it.. -------------------------

Ageism. It's real and it hurts. When you say boomer I feel like my many black friends must feel when they hear the n word. It harkens me back to when boomer was a good thing. Remember that? My black friends call it the Jim Crow era. They lynched boomers and separate but equal was anything but equal. The law forced people to be accountable to discrimination but being rich white politically connected meant that my plight could only be shared in the safety of our gated communities. Our pain and our struggle the n words are eerily the same.

Boomers grew up in post WW2 economy where a blue collar job could pay enough to buy a house, wife to stay home with kiddos, and little johnny could go to college working summers. You what it's like for the kids now in "gig economy"? Kids are helping each other anonymously with rent payments, car repairs, all kinds of mutual aid. They are fighting for their bread. woke my ass. a bunch of parrots who live at home, too lazy to earn it; would rather take it or have it handed over. pathetic |
