I haven't used Armslist, but I have sold a couple things on http://floridaguntrader.com/

It's basically up to the seller to confirm that the buyer is not a prohibited person.

But there are no consequences if he/she isn't. Right?

No. I too have used Florida gun trader but typically I won't deal with anyone who doesn't have a permit and who doesn't require me to have a permit. That's a background check for me. I use their sale form and we take pictures of our concealed permits with the gun. That's just good paperwork. (I'm a big fan of CZ).

What Johnny said. I've had a few people make inquiries where I got a feeling something was "off" and I declined, but no one has ever failed to produce DL and CCW once I agreed to sell.

I would prefer there was a free system where people could run an on demand background check for a private transfer.

This free background check should be the end of the loophole but not the end of the person to person sale.

Curious, as I don't know.

Do they register the weapon they bought? - -
- - or is still registered to you?

Curious only, as I do not know how it works or how Florida Gun Trader works.

I'm a big fan of CZ

Me too Jb.

I have an 83 .380, pristine, which would fetch a good price on the used market because it hasn't been made in years. Old world craftmanship, all machined steel parts no stampings, 12 +1 DA/SA or Cocked & Locked ready to rock.

Love the new model 9's too!

The CZ is a great design. I use a Tanfo for matches on occasion. Gotta love the reliability and ergonomics of the design. Triggers are easy to make decent, too.

I have several CZ rimfire rifles, and they are beatutiful, accurate, and fun for the whole family.

I got the tanfo witness elite match. $700 out the door. Shoots better than all of them. SAO. Maybe three pound pull. It's more of a counterfeit than an homage to cz but the tail is wagging the dog with this gun. It's perfect. The custom shadow is the only one as good and that runs about 1600.

Also, who knew we had shooters on here? That's kind of funny.

I collect C&R and shoot regularly, also teach gun safety and marksmanship to my lefty friends. Big on the safety part.

Firearms and shooting sports aren't automatically dick waving, but I do see a lot of that.

Also, ask yourself, what's the reason you feel the need to shoot a gun. What is the feeling you have shooting it? It's auto dick waving for sure. Unless you are in the military or a police officer, no matter how you out it, it's dick waving. Just my two cents.
