T-fish's reaction to a slight overreach is to do away with all regulation. Typical, and that's how we always end up in the shit after a Republican administration.

Half, yes, half of all wetlands are now in danger. That destruction will include everything from drinking water to the fisheries. This terrible decision is a legitimate and devastating change.

No one is proposing to do away with all regulations. Just stupid ones. This won't destroy anything. We've had Republican presidents, all of who were going to destroy the environment according to you chicken littles, for 12 of the last 20 years. Why aren't we all dead? Moreover, we've had Republican governors here for the last 20 years. Environment is better than ever, even though we've had millions of additional people come here from hell hole prog states. If you want to worry about something, worry about Sanders being elected. Commie countries do destroy the environment.

In most places it is. Sure, there are some problems in prog-run shit hole states like California. But overall, better than ever.

Yuck. Look at that nasty haze. And if had recently rained, I wouldn't get near that water, not with all that bum feces that got washed into the ocean. Who knows what diseases you'd get.

No it is not, or we would not be spending billions on lagoon clean up. It's worse thanks to scorched earth policy of anything-for-a-buck politicians, mainly cons.

If someone is spending billions on lagoon clean up, that tells me it's getting better. So, under Trump, things are getting better. Now, with all the people moving here, we will have to be vigilant. More people = more pollution, by definition. I addressed that in my post in which I implored everyone to urge people living in prog states to vote for Republicans, so those citizens would stop coming here. That's another argument against unfettered immigration, btw. We get 20 million more people in the country we get that much more sewage, air pollution, trash, etc.

The environment is better due to strict legislation from the Obama administration. That has ended. Half of all wetlands are to lose protection, half. Even a Trump bootlick can see that half is quite a bit more than a few.

Drinking water, increased carcinogens, fish populations...all is included. This is what you get when you vote in an administration that has no use for science.

See? Trying to deceive people doesn't get you anywhere. Trump undid regulation of mud puddles and that action doesn't hurt a thing. This why no one believes progs.

Mud puddle was never mentioned in any of the legislation. That's just another Republican lie.

The regs dealt with "ephemeral streams," which are defined as waters that flow only after precipitation. That would be mud puddles in common language. But, folks, this is what progs want. Under their twisted and insane world view, they would regulate your backyard and fine the hell out of you if you somehow diverted excess rain water. Don't vote for these anti-liberty Nazis.

Stream: Moving water.

Puddle: Still water.

What do you get when you vote Republican? Dummies.

Better to spend a million dollars putting a baffle box at the end of the street that is going to cost $$$$$$ annually to maintain rather than make sure the run-off is clean to begin with. Just dump your shit in the street and let it flow to the lagoon, no problem. If people want a clean lagoon then they can spend big money to try to capture and clean that runoff after the fact.

This isn't about puddles in back yards and the lobbies for the mega corps know it. This is about the developer or rancher or farmer that wants free reign to drain huge land areas without any concern for downstream effects. They want to do things like they did in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s when they managed to push the Chesapeake Bay to collapse just from turbidity and nutrients when the population in the watershed was much smaller than today.
