Ted Cruz has already fallen prey to his own logic on this, but from a practical perspective, a ban on vasectomies, a requirement that they can only be performed to save the patient's life by a doctor with admitting privileges at a local hospital within three miles of his practice sounds about right.

I think it should be the opposite. Some idiots should be forced to get a vasectomy to prevent them from polluting the gene pool any further....

Abortions should be free, , , , , But, during the procedure, the uterus should also be removed.

Why? What if she were raped? Maybe a condom broke? Not every pregnancy is black/white.

On top of that, gov't has no business in making a US citizen's health choice.

Taxes? Gummit is bad!
Women's reproductive freedom? Gummit must regulate!

Insurance should cover dick pills, but not birth control.

Wait, that's the way it is already?

Ding got it almost right, abortion should be coupled with mandatory collateral vasectomy.

But that same gov't should be able to regulate mud puddles on your land? Likewise, I fully support the right of progs to abort and murder their children after they are born. Why not?

And the first dipsh*t to take the bait is.....

**drumroll***

Ted Cruz!!!

"Yikes," Cruz wrote Sunday on Twitter in response to the Democratic-sponsored bill. "A government big enough to give you everything is big enough to take everything...literally!"

The comments are awesome, as usual:

- Thought you wanted to stop unwanted pregnancies.

- Yikes. It's almost like you're uncomfortable with someone telling you what to do with your body and deciding when and how to have a kid.

- Yes. Governments have no business controlling the reproductive systems of citizens. Glad you've finally come around on choice, Senator. Also, congrats on an epic self-own.

- Also, congrats on an epic self-own.

- This bill was not meant to pass; it was introduced to demonstrate how wrong it is to restrict people's reproductive rights. In other words, the argument you're applying to this bill shows how your own views on women's reproductive rights are indefensible!
