that was all savannah guthrie's doing tbh. desantis said yesterday he got no guidance or recommendation from the federal government to issue one. savannah cornered the surgeon general this morning live on the today show and asked him specifically about desantis and him making that statement. she wouldnt let it go when he tried to talk circles and got him to say yes, we recommend people stay at home
