I have a silver plan and I'm waiting on the ten grand or so that I'm still on the hook for to show up in the mail.

$6,000 a year for the plan, $10,000 out of pocket = $16,000 from my bank account this year.

And yes, I voted for Bernie.

And. yes i voted for Bernie before I incurred this new debt. Why you ask? Because I had a five year run of medical bills that set me back more than $50,000. Medicare for all or a government plan that isn't bullshit, either/or is fine by me.

Actually, the giant out of pocket happened when Trump changed the coverage requirements. He said the availability of cheap plans would lower the cost, he was wrong; much larger deductibles, no change in cost.

My corporation plans were HSAs when I paid out the 50 grand and not Obamacare.

ACA was a Dem sellout to the insurance industry, and the Pugs still called it socialism. Time to learn that there's no negotiating with them. They must be overcome by overwhelming public demand.
