Again, avoided the question about the meme. Sorry you don't feel there has been enough death, but you've still got time. (The Spanish Flu ran from 1918 - 1920 by the way - since you brought that up. We are about 1/13th of the way through that time frame, FYI) However, back to the memes with stupid misinformation. Why do you post stupid stuff like that? The point of that meme was to say that -"Trump is doing a great job combatting this virus" -that the death rate in America was nowhere near the other countries - and that the "mainstream media" was lying about the death rates However, as with all the crap you post, it was total bullshit- the death rate has more than doubled in 10 days and still going- all info in your meme completely shit the bed. There was no "lying" by the media - America is #1. So again- the question is... why do you keep posting these ridiculous memes full of bullshit? ..and where do you think the US death rate will be in 2 months when I consider retiring this thread? Have you compared the death rate to the population of each country? Oh wait...you forgot that a death rate is related to population size. We aren't reaching the death rate for ALL of those countries COMBINED! What a fucking MORON! Have you compared the death rate to the population of each country? IT'S IN YOUR MEME you fucking blockhead LOL US death rate is now 51,017 Just for the hell of it, since we are 1/13th the way through the Spanish Flu timeframe (1918-1920) .. what would the death rate look like if we continued at this pace for the same amount of time? Answer: 663,221 deaths. Pretty much the same as the Spanish Flu, and that's WITH the shutdown. What would we be looking at if we took Gary and Tfap's advice and were out there dryhumping in the streets? Dotard levels for sure.. Thankfully the dotards are being reigned in by smart folks, so we won't see those Spanish Flu rates. But if those fucknuts had their way... Dotards- they will half-ass everything, cost you your job, tank the economy, kill you and your family, screw you out of unemployment benefits and tell you to drink Lysol. Of course hope, praying & have faith that the doctors and scientists will work their miracles to find some cure, or at least suppressant. As that's the only solution!!!!!! Very sobering interview of a top doctor by Bill Maher tonight who explained that social distancing really doesn't reduce the numbers it just slows them as to not overwhelm the hospitals. So all it does is really spread out over time unless carried on indefinitely or till vaccine... The good thing he did also discuss is a truly randomized sample of testing in the population has been ongoing in MA and points to fact that the true denominator is much higher, maybe 0.4%
