Here is mine: If a white dude made that video or had that opinion he would be racist. So imagine if he was white.

Turn it around and it would be totally racist, like really bad. This is a marginalized minority student letting the white people (advantaged people) know this is a multicultural space with limited room. UVA is a white institution with plenty of space for white people to study. They have 4 areas designated for marginalized groups, this being one of them.

Ding, you're racist. You don't get it I know. This guy just wants attention or he is not completely informed at what was happening there. It's why youtube is a plague. Not a good source for equal opportunity and race education at all.

I think you'd be better off learning about white privilege, race sensitivity and just listening to these groups more than telling groups what you think is right.

Think about it. This youtube video is made for you specifically and your way of thinking. It's not representative of this guy's race or other people of color. It is his opinion specifically and I don't believe it is based completely on all the info available. Also his shirt is bullshit. White privilege is not a false ideology to cultivate victim hood. You posting this video is an act of white privelege. Do you somehow feel upset that a black girl an in predominately white school is telling whites to be mindful of their space in a marginalized study area? Does that hurt you in any way? No. It's privilege talking. Now if a white girl got up in any area on campus and said people of color are crowding the area, it'd be totally racist. I know you want it to be the opposite, that this black girl is being racist. But it is just not so.
