It is like passover; it will only affect dissident socialist wannabees and stoopid democrats. Let it rain Queue the magical thinking. ------------------------- “It is the heart of US policy to use fascism to preserve capitalism while claiming to be saving democracy from communism “ - Michael Parenti |

You're all a bunch of Monday morning quarter backs second guessing the government you dislike. Fact is CDC, WHO and many in the scientific field made bad suggestions and we still do not know the best long termsolution. Based on the data I see, staying at home, coming back out, masks and social distancing has little effect on the pattern of infection.

The CDC on Friday published an article, authored by Schuchat, that looked back on the U.S. response, recapping some of the major decisions and events of the last few months. It suggests the nation's top public health age1ncy missed opportunities to slow the spread. Some public health experts saw it as important assessment by one of the nation's most respected public health doctors.

Yeah, Schuchat was criticizing Trump's failure to respond.

Fact is - the gov't response to this was a complete failure. They were warned in January, but dotards kept playing politics. Now we have nearly 100k dead and about half of that could have been prevented if we did not have dotards in the WH. Plus a wrecked economy. End of story...

The right trying to establish talking points that make sense. They are trying to poke holes in the CDC: look! they are wishy washy or something stupid like that.
What happened to "let us have our Hydroxychloroquine"? Is that one done? |

So with our wealth of knowledge and experience what is the actions that would have saved us? Look at the infection curves for states and counties. Most look pretty similar despite their govt mode of response. Some countries have done better but I think they just have an overall more intelligent individual response.

18 states are showing an increase, even though they are doing limited testing.
Masks and distancing will work, we just won't let it. Hell, Trump just made fun of Biden wearing a mask, even though his very own administration suggest people wear them. I not sure why people think this is done. It isn't. ------------------------- I was right. |

I agree we certainly need less fear. You can have balls as big as Charlie Bronson but this shit can still kill you, your friends and you family. It doesn't see fear. It's biggest advantage are the ignorant and the complacent. Apparently it does. It has been knocking off progs at a disproportionate rate.. It is well documented that progs are the scaredy cats. Knocking off? It's killing of MAGASSHATS like crazy. less of you voting this year. |

Counties that voted for Trump have had only 21% of the deaths from Corona. Hiding under the bed is back firing on progs.

You are in rare dope form today. lol Nor the fact that there are Trump voters within the counties that don't primarily vote for Trump, like 49% of those particular counties. |
