Interesting note from behind the scenes, much of the current movement did get kicked off from the "Occupy" movement, but one thing I've heard from many sources is that the lesson learned from Occupy was to expect police violence and be ready for it. There's no reason to think that being non-violent will elicit a non-violent response from the police.

Trump seems determined to escalate things based on his call with the governors this morning. Tom Cotton suggested that "Airborne" troops be used against protesters.
