Science knows no party...quit trying to be devisive, we've had enough of that for multiple lifetimes. How do you figure? Cities all around the country are protesting the killing of unarmed black people by cops when the data doesn't suggest that unarmed black people are being targeted by cops any more than anyone else. I'm sorry you feel that providing facts equals being "devisive". Except they are not 'facts'. FACT is that black AMERICANS are 3x more likely to be killed by police than white people according to Mapping Police Violence Not if they are unarmed. The left is advancing a narrative that cops are running around killing black people for no reason. More black people are getting killed while they have guns or knives in their hands or on their person. The picture I'm painting is of a black person that gets killed by a cop while eating a candy bar. The picture you are painting is if you called the cops because two of your neighbors were waving guns around in the air and threatening each other. You can't look at the numbers and ignore the fact that black people makeup around 13% of the population but commit around 56% of the homicides. The offending rate for African Americans is almost 8 times higher than whites and the victim rate is 6 times higher. 93% of the black people killed were killed by other black people. You guys are looking at the symptoms, not the problems. It's worse than that. You are grossly exaggerating the symptoms and making up the problems.
