Just imagine how many law suits will be brought up upon all major cities and PD's. How will it effect their budgets?
Lots of visual evidence undeniably showing police assaulting peaceful protesters. How will they financially survive all these civil and criminal lawsuits? |

They will claim immunity Fortunately that does not exist in the law. |

I'll defer to the lawyers, but I expect sovereign and qualified immunity would be part of the equation.

You cannot go up to someone sitting in the street kneeling with a sign on their head, pull down their mask spray pepper in their face push them down and walk away without repercussions. |

They're allowed to do that schitt. http://www.usatoday.com/story/...694e7Q8T1WXRgrEvPUC6R4 Eh, no. Qualified immunity is a legal doctrine in United States federal law that shields government officials from being sued for discretionary actions performed within their official capacity, unless their actions violated "clearly established" federal law or constitutional rights. |

It that was actually working, there wouldn't be millions of people in the streets right now. ------------------------- I was right. |

No shyt , HAPtain Obvious, & I love how the REAL lawyers are staying out of this one Because they know I'm right. Courts are going to be loaded with civil rights and personal injury cases. Probably more than that too. |
