Break public employee unions. Start work the cops. It will be the only way. Could be a bipartisan issue. Conservatives in theory dislike public employee unions since they deliver mediocre service at exorbitant cost. Liberals want police reform. There will be no reform without accountability. I have the outrageous thought that maybe cops that are bad at their job, revive multiple community complaints, have a history of unncessary force etc should be able to be fired. I would rather not have to get to the point where that same bad cop is having to be put on trial for assualt or manslaughter.
