1% of the population owns 50% of the stock. 10% of the population owns 92% of the stock. If you have a stake in your town you don't burn it down. What happens when 90% of the population owns a stake in nothing?

Reich is a social democrat, but he gets it. If nothing is done about inequality, then there will be more trumps, more riots, and more general unrest.
And frankly, ol' Joe wants the status quo. ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system. In biology, such behavior of cells is called "cancer". |

Russki putting in some OT for his master Putin. "Joe wants the status quo" Would that be the status Quo before twitler which was better or the status quo now which is a complete civil rights $hit show?
From wiki: "Robert Bernard Reich is an American economist, professor, author, and political commentator. He served in the administrations of Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton. He was Secretary of Labor from 1993 to 1997. He was a member of President Barack Obama's economic transition advisory board." Who is twitler's economic advisor? That TV guy Kudlow? His Secretary of Labor? Well Scalia's (RIP) son. And his claim to fame from wiki "Scalia argued for the plaintiffs in Wal-Mart v. Maryland in July 2006, which invalidated a state law under which large companies with at least 10,000 employees would have been required to spend at least 8% of their payroll on employee healthcare.[14] Edited: 07/07/2020 at 11:13 AM by Greensleeves |

Robert Reich has always been one of my favorite writers over the years. He is an insightful patriot, and should in no way be affiliated or associated with the nouveau commie wannabe nonsense being foisted on this forum by komrad krusty chuck

Your mistake is that the status quo made trump possible, so another trump will be along soon enough if you ignore it. As for Reich, you didn't need to post his resume, it's exactly what i said, he's a social Democrat. We've covered that topic in the past pretty well. ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system. hey russki you don't know $hit about what I want. But if you want change you could start by voting Joe otherwise your pretty much doing nothing. Every Bernie supporter I know is doing the right thing and supporting the Democratic party because Trump is bad for America.
I didn't posts Reich's resume for you genius. Hey Reich worked for Ford as well. Your notion that he is a socialist is pure bs. Reich on capitalism Edited: 07/07/2020 at 04:03 PM by Greensleeves |

Robert Reich would, and will: laugh out loud at your silly ultra-lib Marx fantasies.
Look at his record of service to our american way of life. As opposed to your weak, silly doot-durruti wannabe posturing. Apples vs granny's prunejuice ------------------------- It's a democratic hoax |

Social democracy is welfare capitalism. Democratic socialism is public ownership of the means of production. As for "Bernie supporters" they are free to vote for whomever they please, as am I or you. Your outrage over my choice is... Undemocratic. And as an aside, if Reich ran for president the DNC would come after him as hard as they did Bernie. They are a right wing party at the core. ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system. Outrage? Your milquetoast rationalizing over Joe's supposed shortcomings is a laughing matter at best. I don't give a $hit how you vote but like your close GOP associates or whichever trump lover you pattern yourself after I will propose you are addled, don't give a $hit about rights of Americans and are pretty much a Putin bot since Putin wants twitler to win. You don't know $hit about Democrats. You aren't one. Reich is revered because he has conviction. You ought to try it.

You do realize I posted this thread with Reich's video, don't you? I think you've missed every point I've tried to make here. One thing is sure though, i know the Dems better than you do.

You have a point? What is it?
Joes admin will be anything but the status quo. The current status quo is a racist $hit for brains and his bull$hit ignorant followers influencing the direction of our country. Joe will be undoing twitlers $hit and making sure that the GOP in its current form is relegated to bama, Kentucky and other garbage states where it belongs. Your end game is what? Prove you support a twitler second term? |
