And they wonder why we don't trust the numbers!
ERRORS IN REPORTING: Florida's positivity rate is skewed. FOX35 went through #COVID19 test reports & found many clinics are reporting a 100% positivity rate. Orlando Health is one hospital chain admitting the number reported is wrong. The report shows Orlando Health with a 98% positive testing rate, but the hospital chain admits the number is actually 9.4%. In that same report, Centra Care showed 83 people were tested and all tested positive. No negative test results were reported. So what's going on? Orlando Health confirms state COVID-19 report has errors By Robert GuaderramaPublished 13 hours ago Updated 9 mins ago Coronavirus FOX 35 Orlando Some Florida labs report 100 percent positivity rates The Florida Department of Health released its daily coronavirus testing report showing a statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, but FOX 35 quickly noticed some shocking positivity rates. ORLANDO, Fla. - The Florida Department of Health released its daily coronavirus testing report showing a statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, but FOX 35 News quickly noticed some shocking positivity rates. Countless labs report 100 percent positivity, which means every single person tested was positive. FOX 35 sifted through the report to find local testing sites with high numbers, like Centra Care, where the report showed 83 people were tested and all tested positive. The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran's Affairs Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA said officials are looking into the numbers. NCF Diagnostics has a location in Alachua, which reported 88 percent of tests coming back positive and 98 percent for Orlando Health. How could that be? We investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every location mentioned. Orlando Health, the only to answer our question, confirmed errors in the report. Its positivity rate is in fact only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report. FOX 35 News has yet to hear from the other labs or the Florida Department of Health to explain how the error could have been made on an official report. ------------------------- The REAL truth is....both of the forum idiots are OWNED. -BOTH of them have no clue who their owner is. -They are both card carrying narcissists. ^These are PROVED facts. |

I just pulled the same report he did from the State that FOX35 reported on. The negative test numbers from about 2 dozen labs are simply missing. They are not input as 0, they are just not there. There is a likewise similar number of 0% positivity because the positive test numbers are missing. So the calculated field for percentage is going to be off for both positives and negatives across the board due to missing data. The question is, why? Was this put together by someone manually and they just screwed up the report or was it a report generated from a database. Will be interesting to see if the next report is similarly screwed up. I suppose someone could total the numbers off the report and see if the number matches what is drawn from the database directly on the dashboard. That would tell if the problem was in the report itself or the raw data input into the system. However, since no one is paying me to determine that, yeah. This is the truth. Fox35 is presenting it as only an issue with 'positive cases' being over reported when the truth is the both positive and negatives were screwed up in the report due to missing data. Why tell the whole story though when they want to reinforce nutjobs like the 2 of you. lol |

TOP PEDIATRICIANS AGREE: REOPEN SCHOOLS WITHOUT HESITATION BRODIGAN JULY 14, 2020 The new debate in pandemicpalooza revolves around reopening schools. On one side, you have parents, teachers, and data. On the other side, you have CNN, panic porn, and teachers' unions that have made it clear they don't care about students or parents. We're constantly told we need to listen to the experts. Well, the experts have weighed in, and on MSNBC of all places: It is safe to open schools WITHOUT HESITATION. Evidence suggests that children are not as susceptible as adults to COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Even among those who have been infected, it's relatively rare for children to develop serious complications or require hospitalization. ... "I think children have had significant social and emotional concerns from online learning over the past several months," Lighter said. "I don't think online learning works very well for children, especially young children, and especially children that are in poverty." All of this is true. But on the other hand, teachers' unions have a presidential election to win and taxpayers to extort! SPOILER: I'm not a parent. But my sister is, as are her neighbors and as are her friends. They all agreed to a fifteen-day shutdown to flatten the curve over a hundred days ago. They've been juggling having to work while also suddenly homeschooling. They've also been doing this with next to no help from the school district. They are also over the panic porn; ironically enough, unlike the people who make decisions about reopening schools, they don't benefit from from the panic porn. Go figure. Obviously adjustments need to be made in schools to adapt to this *sigh* "new normal." But they need to open in the fall. If parents are worried about their children, they should be able to opt out and get a tax credit for doing so. Teachers unwilling to even entertain the idea of reopening can get other jobs. ------------------------- The REAL truth is....both of the forum idiots are OWNED. -BOTH of them have no clue who their owner is. -They are both card carrying narcissists. ^These are PROVED facts. |

Children rarely transmit COVID-19, doctors write in new commentary Schools can reopen in fall, they say, if safety guidelines are observed and community transmission is low Date: July 10, 2020 Source: University of Vermont Summary: A commentary published in the journal Pediatrics concludes that children infrequently transmit COVID-19 to each other or to adults and that many schools, provided they follow appropriate social distancing guidelines and take into account rates of transmission in their community, can and should reopen in the fall. http://www.sciencedaily.com/re...20/07/200710100934.htm ------------------------- The REAL truth is....both of the forum idiots are OWNED. -BOTH of them have no clue who their owner is. -They are both card carrying narcissists. ^These are PROVED facts. |
