What do you think the Democrats have been doing for the past 4 years? I would argue that what you are suggesting is already in motion and has been since Trump became a serious candidate. Democrats still have an identity crisis. They aren't a single party with a cohesive message anymore. They are two parties who are basically together out of convenience. If Biden loses then the Democrat party will be turned upside down. People seem to want to divide us at every turn these days. Politics has even infiltrated sports. Some have said that we are already in an intellectual civil war. It seems like there are factions out there who would like to take that a step further. I think there are idiots on the far left who are working to instigate it and I think there are dickheads on the far right itching to respond. No one will be able to stand up to the rioters without being called a fascist, nazi, etc.
