They didn't pick Biden to win, they picked him to block the left from bringing Medicare for All and real democratic economic reforms to the American people on a national stage.
The donors were terrified of that. They don't fear trump, he's a cash cow for the Dem party. It's easy to be in the opposition and it pays well.
