"If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire f-----g thing down," author Reza Aslan tweeted. He later responded to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's vow to hold a vote on President Trump's nominee. "Over our dead bodies, literally," he tweeted.
Author Aaron Gouveia similarly blasted McConnell's statement, saying: "F--k no. Burn it all down." A Canadian political science professor called for arson, prompting accusations he made a terroristic threat. "Burn Congress down before letting Trump try to appoint anyone to SCOTUS," Waterloo professor Emmett MacFarlane tweeted. In response, Canadian attorney Ezra Levant worried about the consequences for MacFarlane's students. "Macfarlane is a professor at @UWaterloo, promoting violence against his political enemies," he said. "If you were a young woman in his class who was a Trump supporter, would you risk being a target of his violent rage if he found out about you? ------------------------- Romans 8;18-32 John 3;16-18 |

Liberals yesterday: "Violent demonstrations are bad! Law and order!"
Today: "If they try to replace RBG we will burn this shit down" And cranky, ask not whom is the asshole; the asshole is thee. ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system. Senator Lindsey Graham
"I want you to use my words against me. If there's a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said let's let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination." Senator Ted Cruz "It has been 80 years since a Supreme Court vacancy was nominated and confirmed in an election year. There is a long tradition that you don't do this in an election year." Senator Cory Gardner "I think we're too close to the election. The president who is elected in November should be the one who makes this decision." Senator Marco Rubio "I don't think we should be moving on a nominee in the last year of this president's term ? - ?I would say that if it was a Republican president?." Senator Rob Portman "It is common practice for the Senate to stop acting on lifetime appointments during the last year of a presidential term, and it's been nearly 80 years since any president was permitted to immediately fill a vacancy that arose in a presidential election year." And a number of senators have weighed in even more recently: Senator Lisa Murkowski, just yesterday: "I would not vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee. We are 50 some days away from an election." Senator Chuck Grassley in May: "You can't have one rule for Democratic presidents and another rule for Republican presidents." Senator Susan Collins very recently: "I think that's too close, I really do," when asked about appointing a justice in October. Every issue we care about is at stake: abortion rights, campaign finance reform, voting rights, workers' rights, health care, LGBTQ rights, climate change, environmental rights, gun safety and more. Together we must do everything we can to hold the House, flip the Senate, and defeat Donald Trump. But now we also must do all we can to hold Mitch McConnell and many Republican senators to the word and let the winner of the next presidential election nominate Justice Ginsburg's replacement. This is a lis of some, not all, who will be lying about about what they said and why they said it. ------------------------- "One of the reasons why propaganda tries to get you to hate government is because it's the one existing institution in which people can participate to some extent and constrain tyrannical unaccountable power." Noam Chomsky. |

Trump supporters do love their stupid nicknames. Why are they all so unoriginal? Or is it they feel like they are pleasing a master by doing such nonsense? They ball wish they were Trump. But they forget he laughs at them, thinks they're idiots.

Russki yesterday supported sanders because of people and $hit. Russki today supports trump/Putin because he was lying yesterday I support you recognizing that people have both the right and the obligation to vote FOR something and zero obligation to vote AGAINST something. My vote won't matter, but Biden may rue the day he said he has "no sympathy" for the youth and would veto Medicare for All. ------------------------- Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system.
