Howie Carr: Joe Biden cooks up a few debate whoppers

Another night, another two-on-one-is-Democrat-fun debate.

Kristen Welker wasn't as bad as Chris Wallace, but it was still stacked against the president, starting with the topics. Coronavirus, minimum wage, health care, climate change, illegals.

Kristen, here's a quarter, call someone who cares.

Except for health care, on which Biden hasn't a clue, Kristen's Democrat talking-point issues do not resonate with the electorate.

Biden whoppers? No one lost their health care under Obamacare. He lied about opposing the travel ban from China or calling it "xenophobic." He claimed he never said he'd abolish fracking. He said he'd never used the phrase "super predators."

He even demanded Trump put the videotape of his promise to banish fracking on his website. (Yes sir, Mr. Vice President!)

Biden said he never took any money from a foreign country. Of course he didn't. That's why Hunter told his daughter he had to kick back 50% to "the Big Guy."

Despite the fact that Trump was at the usual Republican disadvantage, if the debate had gone on for another half-hour, or even better, a whole hour, they would have had to pass the hat for car fare to get Biden home.

The Poor Boys? The Poor Boys?

From the beginning, he kept referring to "this morning," even though it was almost bedtime in the East. He butchered Rudy Giuliani's name. Biden apparently thinks the minimum wage is $6 an hour.

He said "C'mon" at least seven times. (But malarkey only once.)

Biden even pulled a George H.W. Bush in 1992 - he looked down at his watch, always a bad look.

As usual, Joe got all mixed up on numbers. Trump schooled him on solar and wind and all Biden had to offer was Solyndra 2.0.

On Biden's call for the US to move to zero emissions, Trump asked the right question: "Is he going to get China to go along too?"

Biden keeps talking about the middle-class family hurting ... what exactly has he been doing for them since he was first elected to the Senate in 1972?

He's been spouting this same tepid class-warfare nonsense since Richard Nixon was president.

The Commission on Presidential Debates has got to go. How many times did Welker interrupt Trump as opposed to Biden? Maybe ten times as often.

As you watched, weren't you thinking, when exactly are they going to talk about the Biden Crime Family?

Trump was in much better form, great move to mention that under the Bernie Sanders health plan, 180 million Americans will lose their health care.

Biden is going to reduce premiums on health insurance and drug prices. Stop me if you've heard this one before. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor ... ."

Where was Tony Bobulinski sitting?

Trump on Biden's extinguished career: "He was there for 47 years and he didn't do anything."

Then Biden admitted something we all know:

"People deserve to have affordable health care. Period. Period. Period. It's going to cost some money."

As the old saying goes, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

"He doesn't come from Scranton, he lived there for a little while."

Welker asks him about the stalled relief bill. Does she realize she just walked her man into it? Trump can blame Nancy Pelosi.

Trump is talking about issues, Biden is regurgitating talking points.

Welker on abandoned illegal minors at the borders:

"How will you reunite them?"

Trump has to point out that Obama-Biden built the cages.

"Who built the cages, Joe? Who built the cages?"

Trump has lost millions to go into public service. And as we now know, the Bidens made millions from "public service."

All this going down the tubes because Crackhead Hunter couldn't be bothered to pay $85 to the laptop-repair store.

Richard III said: "My horse! My horse! My kingdom for a horse!"

The Bidens say: "Eighty-five bucks, 85 bucks! Our racketeering enterprise for 85 bucks!"

One last thought: So of the last four "Republican" governors of Massachusetts, one admits to voting for Biden (Weld), two say only they didn't vote for Trump (Romney, Baker) ... so who do you think Jane Swift voted for?
